As subsidiary of the world’s largest apple pectin producer, Herbstreith & Fox KG Pektin-Fabrik Neuenbürg, it has among other things extensive know-how in the field of apple derived products as for example apple sweetener, apple extract, apple pectin extract, apple fibres and combinations of other hydrocolloids with apple pectin. Since its foundation in 1980 it has created for itself a remarkable market position in the field of dietary fibres from fruits, vegetables and cereals as well as fruit sweeteners.

The high-quality standard of the Herbafood products is tied into the Quality Management System according to DIN EN ISO 9001.

A well equipped technology laboratory allows application technical experiments and tests and custom made product developments which we offer our customers as a service.

Since 1993 Herbafood Ingredients GmbH is resident in Werder/Havel (Brandenburg) the site of Herbstreith & Fox GmbH Pektin-Fabrik Werder/Havel.
